Anne is the academic lead for the pedagogic theme of Assessment and Feedback at Bournemouth University, based in the Centre for Fusion Learning, Innovation and Excellence (previously the Centre for Excellence in Learning) and is responsible for policy innovations to promote student-centred and research-informed assessment and feedback strategies.
A focus on policy review and re-write has led to far-reaching and fundamental changes to the university-wide assessment policy and generic assessment criteria. A recent initiative has been the development of an Assessment and Feedback Toolkit, particularly valuable in a time of adjusting to remote teaching and learning.
Anne is the Programme Leader/Unit Leader for the PGCert and MA in Education Practice., which is currently being reviewed for revalidation.
Anne’s research interests include blended learning and arts-based pedagogical approaches, including the use of photo-elicitation.
