Biography:

Dan is Learning Services Manager at Leeds University Library, overseeing the Skills@Library service. He is a University Student Education Fellow, with substantial experience as a Higher Education librarian and learning development manager, and has particular interests in: embedding academic literacies into the curriculum; collaborations with academic and professional staff; information literacy and digital literacy; blended learning; supporting student transitions; and taught postgraduate development. Dan has been a member of the CILIP Information Literacy Group committee since 2013, in the role of Website Manager. Along with several Leeds colleagues, he received the Digital Award for Information Literacy 2020 for the development of Step Up to Masters, an online resource that supports successful transition to Masters level study.
