Biography:

I am a Teaching Fellow in Learning Development attached to the Foundation Year programme in Business and Economics at the University of Surrey, which has been my role since 2018. I am employed by the central Academic Skills and Development section of the university library and contribute to the work of that department, though most of my time is devoted to embedded learning development work within the faculty.

Most of my previous experience has been in English language teaching and academic management, most recently at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I taught English for Academic Purposes and led a number of pathway programmes. Earlier professional roles include teaching English in Greece and Japan, teacher training and a number of years as Director of Studies in a UK language school.
