Biography:

Ian is a learning developer of six years’ experience at University of Portsmouth. He is also a part time Professional Doctorate researcher, investigating the value of learning development work to various stakeholder groups, and its implications for practice. Ian runs ALDinHE’s Research into LD community of practice which launched in May 2020 and is a member of ALDinHE’s Peer Mentoring Working Group. He has additional research interests on the role of hidden curriculum in written feedback, as published in 2020 by Advance HE.
