Association for Learning Development in Higher Education Conference 2021

Presenter: Jessica Lönn-Stensrud

Institution: University of Oslo

Biography:

I first studied at the University of Gothenburg, where I gained a MEd and a MSc in biochemistry. After a few years working as a teacher in the upper secondary school in Sweden, I got my PhD in microbiology at the University of Oslo. Besides microbiology, I always had a great interest for research communication, teaching, and learning development. This interest has amongst other things given me the opportunity to work with the Swedish national agency for education, and with the Centre for Teaching and Learning in Science at the University of Oslo.

I am currently head of section for learning development at the Medical and Science library at the University of Oslo. Here I have the opportunity to combine my two major interest’s microbiology and learning development in higher education.
