Silvia Rossi – Presenter at #ALDCon21

Association for Learning Development in Higher Education Conference 2021

Presenter: Silvia Rossi

Institution: Mount Royal University, Calgary

Biography:

Silvia has worked in Learning Development for six years. Before that, she trained English language teachers and facilitated language classes (English, Italian, French) in Canada, Brazil, Poland and Japan. What she loves best about her work as a writing and learning strategist is the incredible variety – in the students she coaches, the tutors she collaborates with, and the subjects she gets to learn about every day. She is currently thinking deeply about the how and why of paraphrasing, along with approaches to helping students understand academic integrity. Silvia is grateful to have discovered the warm and welcoming ALDinHE community and hopes to someday have the chance to show ALDinHE colleagues around Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. You are welcome anytime!
